Overview
The University of Illinois at Chicago wanted to add some lighting on campus and demonstrate their commitment to environmental sustainability. They installed some Illumient lights, powered by solar and wind, near their athletic fields and elsewhere on the campus. Lighting adds security and enables students to use outdoor facilities later in the evening and throughout the long Chicago winter.
