Wingbury Paris Parking Lot

Overview
Wingbury Properties Ltd., a Brantford-based real estate development and property management firm, partnered with Clear Blue to light a commercial parking lot at 30 Mechanic Street in Paris, Ontario. Two Senti Ampio solar luminaires deliver light levels that exceed ANSI/IES RP-8-18 recommended practices, providing safe, standards-compliant illumination with no grid connection and no ongoing energy costs.
The Challenge
The customer needed reliable, code-compliant parking lot lighting for a commercial property in Paris, Ontario, but the site lacked convenient grid access. As a firm actively developing properties across Ontario, Wingbury required a solution that met ANSI/IES RP-8-18 standards for maintained light levels (0.5 Fc minimum) and uniformity (15:1 ratio or better) while minimizing installation complexity and eliminating long-term utility expenses.
Our Solution
Clear Blue installed two Senti Ampio luminaires at 16 feet, spaced approximately 55 feet apart. The system achieves 0.9 Fc maintained light levels, nearly double the ANSI/IES RP-8-18 minimum, with a uniformity ratio well within the recommended threshold. Powered entirely by solar and managed through the Illumience cloud platform, the installation required no trenching, no electrical hookup, and carries no utility bills. For Wingbury, it is a turnkey lighting solution that meets industry standards from day one and scales easily across their growing Ontario portfolio.
