The school implemented renewable energy lighting to demonstrate sustainability efforts. The systems feature integrated solar panels and vertical axis wind turbines with customizable sails displaying the school logo.
The Challenge
HGHS needed to visibly showcase their energy-reduction initiatives beyond behind-the-wall installations.
Our Solution
Illumient Advertising Light Poles with integrated solar panels and vertical axis wind turbines were installed to illuminate the parking lot.
Results
- Offsets 650 kWh annually.
- Equivalent to 1.4 barrels of oil or 68 gallons of gasoline.
- Enhanced parking lot lighting while promoting school spirit.
