Clear Blue Technologies International Completes $1 Million First Tranche Equity Capital Raise

Today, Clear Blue Technologies (TSXV:CBLU) is pleased to announce that it has completed an initial tranche of a non-brokered private placement of units (each, a “Unit”) at a price of $0.25 per Unit, for gross proceeds of $1,008,000 (all amounts are in Canadian dollars). Additionally, the Company has closed on a $1,150,000 operating line and credit facility provided by a Canadian Schedule I bank with the support of Export Development Canada (“EDC”).

Clear Blue Technologies to Wirelessly Power Lights at Over 50 North Dakota Intersections

Clear Blue Technologies has delivered Smart Off-Grid Power Packs to power lighting at 51 intersections in North Dakota for the Department of Transport. The initial three phases of installations are complete, with 16 lights already in use at rural intersections across the State. The remaining 34 lights are expected to be installed in two phases during 2019. The project was done in partnership with Luma Sales, and includes the sale of Clear Blue Smart Off-Grid Power Packs as well as on-going monitoring and management services.

Clear Blue Technologies announced that 40 of its Illumient solar-powered street lights have been installed along Bloor Street West in Toronto. The project was driven by the Bloor West Village Business Improvement Association (BIA), the first BIA ever established in the world. The project value to Clear Blue exceeded $400,000 CAD, and includes on-going management services from Clear Blue, using its Illumience cloud software.
