Clear Blue Technologies has delivered Smart Off-Grid Power Packs to power lighting at 51 intersections in North Dakota for the Department of Transport. The initial three phases of installations are complete, with 16 lights already in use at rural intersections across the State. The remaining 34 lights are expected to be installed in two phases during 2019. The project was done in partnership with Luma Sales, and includes the sale of Clear Blue Smart Off-Grid Power Packs as well as on-going monitoring and management services.

Clear Blue Technologies announced that 40 of its Illumient solar-powered street lights have been installed along Bloor Street West in Toronto. The project was driven by the Bloor West Village Business Improvement Association (BIA), the first BIA ever established in the world. The project value to Clear Blue exceeded $400,000 CAD, and includes on-going management services from Clear Blue, using its Illumience cloud software.  

Clear Blue Technologies today announced the delivery of a modular, lithium energy capability that can scale as the power demands of nano-grid systems change and grow. Clear Blue’s Smart Off-Grid power systems now include Clear Blue-certified lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) batteries within Clear Blue’s telecom, lighting, and IoT Smart Off-Grid power packs.

Clear Blue Technologies has been selected as the power service provider for BRCK, a Kenyan technology provider working to connect frontier markets to the internet. Clear Blue will provide BRCK with its Smart Off-Grid technology and service for a multi-year rollout of thousands of WiFi hotspots across Africa, set to begin in 2019 and running through 2024.
