Smart Off-Grid Power for IoT In The Delaware Bay

Overview
Smart Off-Grid power for IoT surveillance on an electricity transmission barge operating two miles from the nearest dock on the Delaware River.
The Challenge
The barge operates two miles from the nearest dock on the Delaware River. It serves as a critical electricity transmission waypoint, requiring surveillance cameras to monitor boat traffic and prevent accidents. Regular maintenance visits would prove costly and logistically challenging. Delaware Camera Systems needed dependable off-grid power that could be remotely monitored and maintained.
Our Solution
Clear Blue deployed Smart Off-Grid power to enable continuous 24/7 security camera surveillance on the barge, with remote monitoring capabilities eliminating expensive site maintenance visits.
Results
- Enabled continuous 24/7 security camera surveillance on the barge.
- Eliminated expensive site maintenance visits.
- Smart Off-Grid power delivered the required reliability and uptime for mission-critical IoT devices at minimal operational cost.
